I don't have a favorite musician in this day and age. If you asked my 12 y/o self, she would definitely tell you NSync. There are bands and singers that I love and adore, but none that I would say are my absolute favorite above the rest.
I do have an absolute favorite song which was originally sang by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers called "Free Fallin'", but I find myself falling in love more and more with John Mayer's acoustic version :
This is the reason why I started listening to his music. Without this song, I would have continued to ignore him. Love it.
